Resources

I’ve listed a number of books and authors that have helped me on this journey. Take what resonates with your heart and leave the rest. I’ve chosen to list only the books I have personally read, but I encourage you to explore any work by these authors as they are extremely prolific.

Sue Monk Kidd

Dance of the Dissident Daughter

*This book comes with a disclaimer- while I cannot suggest this book enough, it is not a light read. Each page is jam packed with life changing insights what will cut you to your core. Be prepared to cry.  I have been very strongly influenced by this work. If you choose to read this you will see Kidd’s language repeat itself in a number of my posts. Her words have seeped into the marrow of my being.

Without these books- and the idea that it was okay have questions-  I would not be here right now. I would have left a long time ago.
